Travis Barker’s Daughter Alabama Barker Reveals She’s Taking Weight-Loss Medication
Alabama Barker is keeping fans up to date with her lifestyle change.
The 18-year-old daughter of Travis Barker and his ex-wife Shanna Moakler revealed that she is currently taking a weight loss medication after she was bullied for her weight online.
"I'm on weight less medication," Alabama said in a get ready with me video captured by a fan, "because I'm tired of being fat and photographing like a damn ogre."
"I have like this thing where I photograph so ugly," she added, "and people are like, 'Oh my God, you're so fat and you're so ugly.'"
But as Alabama noted, she does think the comments aren't 100% warranted.
"It's like, I see what you guys are seeing," she continued, "but like just like meet me in person. I feel like I really don't look like that."
While Alabama didn't say which weight loss medication she is currently taking, mom Shanna previously admitted to taking Mounjaro—an FDA-approved drug meant to treat Type 2 diabetes—after the death of her parents in 2023.

"I was in a very, very dark place," the 49-year-old—who is also mom to son Landon Barker, 20, and Atiana de la Hoya, 25, told People in June. "I stopped dieting. I stopped exercising. I just ate like s–t. I was so devastated, and I missed my f–king mom and dad. I was like, 'I'm going to f–king eat the pain away."

As for Alabama, the teen has previously spoked out about her appearance, telling a fan on Instagram in April that she was "delusional" for thinking she had gotten plastic surgery.
In February, she also clapped back at one social media user who commented, "This child has done a lot of cosmetic surgery @ a very young age, I hope she doesn't over do it! She looks good now!"
Alabama responded, "I really appreciate the love! I'm natural, besides my lips, accept the fact I'm naturally beautiful."
In fact, she has been very open about her lip filler, even posting about her aesthetic practitioner Anush Movsesian in October and writing, "The best in LA hands down."
